MAKE-UP TIPS FOR SPECTACLES WEARERS

You can have fun with make-up when you wear glasses - just consider them as an additional accessory. We'll share some make-up tricks with you, to help you show-off the beauty of your face and especially of your eyes.

Use eye make-up that makes eyes look larger if you are short sighted, as your lenses will make your eyes appear smaller. Use contrasting colours of eye shadow, from very light to the darkest shade. Shade them up to your eyebrow, towards the temples and then downwards, thus creating an effect of bigger and more striking eyes.

If you are long sighted, remember that your lenses will magnify your eyes, so use eye shadow of calm pastel shades, preferably matt in texture (as shiny textures will seem to magnify).

It's important to know that glasses can make the skin seem lighter and all small blemishes are more visible. That's why it's especially important for spectacle wearers to look after the delicate skin around the eye area.

You can accentuate a beautiful eyebrow line with a transparent or thin rim. Vice versa, you'll hide the brows with a heavier frame.

Blusher may need to be placed lower on the cheek when wearing glasses with large lenses. Experiment until you get the best effect.
