HOW TO CREATE THE ISOLA BELLA LOOK

Throughout this year RBR will unveil four sophisticated looks encompassed under the theme PORTRAITS OF GRACE. All the looks are vignettes of finesse and elegance, diverse kinds of graceful feminine beauty. The essence of luxuriousness is paired with a touch of enigma and a dash of old-fashioned allure. Nostalgic hues will shine in a new splendour and deliver an up-to-date chic expressed by different kinds of polished and pure naturals in eye shadows and expressive lips.

Isola Bella evokes the ease of respite during a mid-summer day in a scenic nook of an island. Tropical colours are inspired by its exotic vegetation and flora; fluttering shades of green and grey around the eyes, terracotta for an overall glow, and the full bloom of rose on the lips, make Isola Bella a glistening and very feminine look. Summer reflections are captured in the make-up resulting in a dreamy but vivid look.
Face
Start with the application of our Liquid Foundation (we used 'Chestnut Milk Parfait') for an even complexion. Foundation is best applied with a brush (i.e. Foundation Brush (# 009)) as this ensures a smooth and professional finish.
Dab the Glide Concealer (we used 'Clio') with your fingertips or with the Concealer Brush (# 004) over any imperfections and follow up in the same way with the Luminous Skin Wand (we used 'Alula') to disguise dark shadows under the eyes.
Create a face contour with sculptured cheeks and delicate luminosity using 'at Neatherway Cove' Bronzing Glow Powder for a warm and harmonized look. With the RBR Face Contour Brush (# 012), dust the bronzer along your cheekbones, over the temples, chin, forehead, jaw line and along the hairline; blend everything well.
Eyes
Use your fingertips to tap the semi-matt, slightly luminous, cool grey of our Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadow 'Batiste Grayling' as a base over the movable eye lid, making an accent in the crease, and blending to the outsides.
Spread the pale golden-toned mint Long-lasting Duo Eye Shadow 'C Major - a Minor' with the Mini Shader (# 005) over the first eye shadow to achieve a fresher and more lively shade.
Rub the multipurpose Brightening Liner Duo with your fingertips over the bridge of the nose, temples, under the brow bow line and inner corners of your eyes to add some sun reflections.
Line the upper lash line with the carbon black Lacquer Eyeliner to add a special touch to the eye make-up. Glide with the tip of the brush very close along your lash line following the natural eye shape, and elongate the stroke up- and sidewards towards the temples.
Team up with several layers of our Big Lash Mascara in deep black 'Pure Obsidian'.
Lips & Cheeks
Catch the feeling and light of a long summer day and compliment the Isola Bella look with a final glow. Using your fingertips, smooth the delicate illuminating liquid blush of our Decadent Duo 'Tango Argentino' over your cheekbones and finish with the soft application of the sheer coral pink Lip Gloss, from the same Duo, for luscious lips.
