HOW TO CREATE THE ABBREVIATED AFFAIR LOOK

A classic beauty look for the summer season is represented by Angharad, one of our City Angels, in our ABBREVIATED AFFAIR look. A wide expressive eyelid line, created with our Quartz Eyeliner, is paired only with a hint of eye shadows, plus slightly shimmering, healthy looking skin and true red lips. The combination of our products including the refreshing Aqua Primer, the soft Tinted Moisturiser, the luminous Highlighting Powder and an intense Colour Burst Lipstick make this look timelessly elegant and desirable.
Face
The water-based, refreshing texture of our Aqua Primer creates the perfect canvas for all products which follow, helping to hold them in place and prevent colour changes.
Buff Luminous Skin Wand 'Orionis' gently over any imperfections and under your eyes using your fingertips or our Concealer Brush (# 004).
Use a spare amount of our Tinted Moisturiser (i.e. 'Adansonia') for an even, radiant appearance; like Angharad your natural beauty will shine through. The sublimely light texture of our Tinted Moisturiser refreshes your skin and maintains a seamless finish.
Add warmth and an iridescent halo effect by dusting the light pink-golden 'Sweet to Touch' Highlighting Powder over your face using RBR's Powder Brush (# 001). Dust your forehead, down to the bridge of the nose, along the cheekbones up to the temples, and on your chin.
Contour your cheeks and give them a soft flush of coral (Original Skin Blush 'Starina') by sweeping our Blushed Brush (# 002) with the light colour over your cheekbones up to the temples.
Eyes
Lightly shaded eyes are the perfect neutral background for the expressive, wide eyelid line which was created with our Quartz Eyeliner.
For a hint gleam of light in the inner corners of the eyes and to blend over the complete eyelid with our Large Shader (# 003) we recommend our Long-lasting Eye Shadow 'Capricious Nightingale', a metallic finish, silver-white cherry blossom pink.
As the second step brush the plumy 'Delicate Hummingbird' very softly over your movable lids, stopping at the crease, and diffuse the colour towards the outer edges for a soft definition.
Take our smoky slate 'Grey Go-away Lourie' (Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadow) with our Mini Shader (# 005) to rim your lower lash line from the outside corners just to the middle of the eyes.
We bestowed Angharad with a black wide, elegant eyelid line to let her eyes look allusive. Sweep our dense black with silver sparkles Quartz Eyeliner 'Anthracite Essence' from the inner corners of the eye along the upper lashes and extend the line outwards towards the temples.
To complete the eye make-up we swiped over the lashes our warm, chocolate brown Big Lash Mascara 'Golden Charcoal' for voluminous lashes.
Lips
The icing on the cake is our true red Colour Burst Lipstick 'Raw Silence' which completes the sweet seduction. Apply 'Raw Silence' with our Lips Brush (# 010), which helps to place the intense colour exactly where you want and keeps the colour in place. Our intensely powerful and pigment-dense shades are best applied on top of our Long-lasting Lip Pencil. Outline the lip contour with our waterproof pencil 'Marco' to get well defined lips and to stop lipstick “bleeding”.
