HOW TO CREATE THE A CAPPELLA LOOK

One of the most timeless make-up trends is the pure nude look displaying femininity and unadulterated naturalness. A CAPPELLA brings together Yulia and Alina to show appealing softness and freshness in combination with a warm glow, naturally flushed cheeks and a slight shimmer highlight on the lips for an ultra polished nude look. Delicate neutrals appear barley visible as a hint of cheek colour to underline the healthy look and on the eyes to add more vibrancy. It is a polished day-look, perfect during summer season, and also when you prefer light products and a soft make-up.
Face
A CAPPELLA is characterised by two basic elements which are absolutely essential for such a flawless look: mattified skin and covered imperfections. The essence of the look is to create a very soft make-up for which only perfecting products are important. Our make-up artists used only our two concealer pens and a primer to achieve A CAPPELLA; foundations and powders are not necessarily a must.
Our new all-in-one Gentle Cleansing Water prepares your skin for all the following products. Wet cotton wool with the water and massage your face, eyes, lips, neck and décolleté in gentle circular movements. Repeat the procedure if necessary to make sure all impurities are removed. Add your daily moisturiser and wait for a couple of minutes for your skin to absorb it.
Apply the weightless fluid of our Mattifying Primer over your complete face to complement your skin with a velvet matt suede glow. Pores will look tightened; your skin will appear even and flawless.
Our two concealer pens give you the right coverage to veil everything you decide not to show. Dab our Glide Conceler (we offer three shades) with your fingertips on any imperfections and blend well using your fingers or our Concealer Brush (# 004). The creamy texture blends so effortlessly with your natural skin glow that it does not show off. If you need to cover a bit more it's always better to apply one layer at a time and build up gentle coverage.
The Luminous Skin Wand, available in two colours, disguises under eye shadows, can be blended over fine lines for a lifting effect and creates a truly flawless finish with its reflective formula. Apply it directly under the eyes to cover dark circles and on the movable eyelid, to even out the skin tone.
You can harmonise your look by placing a small amount on your chin, bridge of the nose and nasolabial groove directly with the included brush and blend well.
Soft highlights can be set with the pearlescent side of the versatile Brightening Liner Duo on the temples, the chin and top of the cheeks.
A brightened cupid's bow underlines the shape of the lips and both sides can be used to free eyes for a fresh, bright gaze (and to make your eyes stand out).
Eyes
The Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadow 'Brocade Skipper' adds a light wash of colour to the eyelids while lasting throughout the day and the soft champagne colour underlines the no-make-up look.
Apply the rose side of the Brightening Liner Duo directly on the inner eyelids and the pearlescent side on the inner and outer corners of your eyes blending the products gently with your fingertips. You will enliven, open and brighten your eyes with these two small steps.
'Angel Play' Eye Gloss can be used not only for light, shimmering effects instead of an eye shadow; the fluid pearls can also give your eyebrows a beautiful dewy, out of the water freshness. You can groom your brows very easily with the crystal clear gloss to frame your eyes, too.
Apply the Eye Gloss directly onto the brows with its included brush and groom afterwards with the RBR Brows & Lashes Brush (# 007) into the perfect shape.
If you would like to add a hint of mascara we recommend our light Swift Length Mascara in brown 'Untamed Sable' for the most natural look.
Lips & Cheeks
A healthy glow and natural flush of colour should be added so that the look does not appear too pale; Decadent Duo 'Flamenco - Duende' adds a bit of colour without looking too made up. Take a tiny amount out of the flacon and place it with your fingertips on the apples of your cheeks. Blend it into your skin while sweeping over your cheeks upwards to the top of the cheeks. If you would like to add a bit more colour, dot several drops of the liquid blush directly onto the skin with its integral brush and blend again with your fingertips.
Natural glossy lips can be achieved with the XXX Lip Plump treatment which hydrates and cushions the delicate lip skin, too. Place the clear gloss with goldish shimmer pigments directly on your lips, using the sponge brush.
A CAPPELLA is both easy and fast to create with these perfecting products but do not forget about cleansing your face deeply in the evening. Remove your make-up every evening with our Make-up Melt Cleanser and treat yourself with a lymphatic massage for a pleasant relaxation and refreshed skin.
